The government has postponed the deadline for the Personal Income Tax Return

The Government approved the extension of the deadline for submitting the Personal Income Tax Return on income tax and social contributions due by individuals as well as the extension of the deadline for payment of related obligations until June 30, 2020.

The persons who will submit the return electronically and will pay the related debts until June 30, 2020 will receive a bonus of 10%, 5% for submission in electronic format and 5% for payment on time.

The bonus will be applied for income tax, social security contribution and social health insurance contribution, due for income earned in 2019, for which there is an obligation to submit the Personal Income Tax on income tax and social contributions due by individuals.

The granting of the bonuses will be made by the taxpayer, by registering them in the declaration and substracting the afferent amount from debt.

Taxpayers who have already submitted the Personal Income Tax Return for the income realized in 2019, regardless of the method of submission, without granting the bonuses, can benefit from them by submitting a rectifying statement until June 30, 2020.
